Kimon Matara spent his childhood drawing, playing music and writing HyperCard stacks on his dad’s Macintosh SE as Jethro Tull’s Songs From the Wood spun on the turntable.

He got his degree in Illustration from the University of Westminster in 1999, and his Master’s in Computer Animation from Bournemouth University in 2000.

Kimon started out as an illustrator and animator, but his love of coding gradually took over.

After nearly twenty years building character rigging pipelines for studios like Framestore, he is now returning to the source, to build new things with coding, design and music.
