The series exclusively utilised my auto-rigging system. This allowed us to easily accommodate frequent character proportion changes from the art department.
The rigs featured fleshy mouth and eye effects, as well as pose-space corrective sculpts driven in various ways.
In addition, I developed a scripted pose-space corrective sculpt tool which allowed very precise deformation work to be performed in the animation scenes themselves, and included an option to send corrective sculpts back to the rig for reuse elsewhere. This drastically cut down the time spent on custom deformations, at the same time keeping the basic rigs clean and light.
